Suggest Treatment For Crohn's Disease

i am female, 29 years of age, weigh 120 lbs. stand 5ft. 6in. I have Crohns disease. my question does not regard the Crohns, i am fighting a severe infection that has put me in ICU on 3 occasions in the past 3 weeks. im on a very broad spectrum of high dosage antibiotics. the doctors tell me my numbers are at good lvls rite now. i have a pick line in my arm which some say is infected, others do not. the line shows no signs of redness and swelling. last nite they took me off the antibiotics in hope of switching to oral to remove pick line. when they stopped the antibiotics my temp shot up to 103.4 in under 4 hours. the doctors dont know why and cant seem to get it under control. i tend to think my kidneys are oart of the problem due to low magnesium and potassium lvls as well. and i did pass a stone last week. (ive had many). please help....

likely your fevers are not related to electrolyte abnormalities ( magnesium or potassium) This sounds more likely related to crohns and infections that they have been treating not being well controlled off the antibiotics. if there is no redness, purulence , tenderness etc around the PICC most likely it is not infected, but there is a chance there is bacteria in your blood from the catheter being present. This could be determined with blood cultures. If you had a stone in your kidney , you could also have kidney infection/pyelonephritis , this can be serious which may or may not be covered by the antibiotics. this can be determined with urine sample.
