Suggest Treatment For Cut Between Lower Lip And Chin After Accident

My son had an ATV accident and had a cut all the way through the little dip between the lower lip and chin. They only stitched the outside. Is this normal? He has had some bleeding on the inside. They did put him on an antibiotic and he is swishing with salt water after he eats anything.

Hello, I've gone through your query. if there is no continuous bleeding from the inner lip then you need not worry.. the little amount of bleeding from the inner lip could be due to the laceration. If the bleeding has stopped you need not worry. let him continue the antibiotic course and the salt water swishing.
