Hii I am geeta..I got a 4 years kid and now we are planning for another one and consulted doctor and I came to know that I have cyst in my ovary and I have been taking treatment since 6 months after it I went for scanning again and it reduced not up to the extent I am getting into depression please let me know how much time it will take to reduce the cyst and what will be the furthest procedure for this..please let me know...
If the conservative medications in form of oral contraceptive pills do not show up results in ovarian cyst resolution, the final cure would be surgery. The laparoscopic drilling is the best option to get relief from the ovarian cyst, provided it is simple. In later case, there may be need of extensive surgery or loss of ovary. Then ovum retrieval and test tube baby may be another option.
