Suggest Treatment For Cyst In The Right Ovary

I went to the doctor today for severe upper stomach pain and pain when i urinated. she said i have a cyst on my right ovary and that it is 2x bigger then normal. she told me just to take advil and it should go away on its own. I still have really really bad pain that makes it hard to breathe.

Welcome to HCM,

Advil is just a pain killer, but the cause of the pain needs to be found.

If you are having pain which is making it difficult for you to breathe then it needs to be evaluated, moreover it is in upper part of abdomen so unlikely to be due to the cyst in ovary.

This pain could be due to gastritis, infection or some other cause for which you need to see a physician immediately.

The cyst in ovary, we need to know the exact size, the type, whether simple or complex. Also do you have any other problem such as menstrual, infertility and i would also like to know your age.

Acute pain abdomen cannot be neglected and just Advil is surely not enough. See a emergency physician immediately.
