Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have read everywhere about not worrying or no treatment needed if the is no infection ... But my cyst is now very large and is stretching the scrotal sac. From time to time it also feels very heavy, which is probably normal given its size. My biggest worry is that if it bursts what happens to all the fluid and is their a large chance of infection or even the spread of any form of cancer.
From your description, it appears that you may be having a hydrocele or a swelling of the sac around your testis. While the swelling can be harmless for a long period of time, it is usually advisable to have a surgery and drain the accumulated fluid before an infection sets in.
I would suggest that you visit a surgeon and get it drained and an eversion of the sack be performed.
Do get back to us with any further queries.
