Suggest Treatment For Cyst In The Vaginal Area

My daughter has a cyst in her vaginal area. She was seen yesterday by a Dr. The Dr said it was abscessed and it ruptured. The Dr told her to do sitz bath, but she is in college and there is no where to do that. She s been using a shower that has a detachable shower head and running warm water up there. She wasn t given any antibiotics. The pain is worse today. Do I need to be concerned or will this just go away since it opened on it s own?
