Hello,
You have a
simple cyst since 2012, it has grown to 1.1cm
hemorrhagic cyst. Simple kidney cysts are almost always harmless, they will not develop into something more serious and require no treatment unless they put too much pressure on another organ. Only then it becomes necessary to shrink the cyst by aspiration or
sclerotherapy. Removal is commonly done by laparoscopically. However, some cysts do have thickened walls, may look irregular on X-rays, and could be associated with kidney cancers.
You are suggested to get a repeat USG, CT, MRI,
biopsy, histopathological examination done to detect any malignant changes. The contents of the cystic mass needs to be studied in detail. Evidence of malignant hemorrhagic
renal cyst if found will be treated by surgical intervention and usually nephrotomy. You can reduce your risk of cyst formation by drinking plenty of water and limiting the amount of salt intake. Get physically re-examined, get all required blood workouts done so that treatment can be started at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
