I had the Korean Iud in for 7 years..2yrs overdo..I had it taken out cause I was having pregnancy like symptoms..doctors did urine it come back negative...they did ultrasound n found a baseball size cyst on my left overy..I got the iud out in May...since then the pregnancy symptoms have continued...My stomach has grown to what seems like a baby bump.I ve had 3 negative pregnancy test.now I can swear I feel movement...I sent have insurance right now could the iud have anything go do with all this....could I still pregnant....what s your active advice.
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety. If you think you're pregnant and urine tests are negative,do a scan. An abdominal and pelvic scan, will clear all your doubts. The IUD is to prevent a pregnancy. Once removed,there's no problem. You'll also have an idea,if the bump is due to the cyst or pregnancy. Hope your doubts are cleared.
