I am 37 years old and recent ultrasound showed mildly bulky uterus, nabothian cysts in cervix, right ovarian cyst of 2.1 x 2.2 cm and free fluid in Pod...my doctor prescribed me Clingen vaginal tabs for 6 days...is there any oral treatment for all the problems i have
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Mild bulky uterus with ovarian cyst and free fluid in Pouch of Douglas (POD) indicates pelvic infection. For this, the doctor has prescribed you medications to be taken for 6 days. Nabothian cysts are small mucosal cysts present in cervix, which doesn't need any treatment as they are harmless and disappear on their own. Kindly follow as the doctor has advised now. Also, you need to follow-up with the ultrasound scan regularly to know the status of ovarian cyst. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
