Suggest Treatment For Dandruff And Hair Loss Problem

Hello Sir.... I have hair loss problem since 4years.l am 21years old...some days ago I visited to a doctor and he suggested me candid b lotion... But it doesn t work..now my scalp is full of dandraff. What should I do now?? Please suggest...... Kalpana

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dandruff and hair loss problem which could be due to many reasons like improper hygiene, nutritional deficiencies, genetic factor, fungal infection and hormonal changes. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test, skin patch test and can do physical examination . Doctor may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or antifungal treatment along with minoxidil spray.Doctor may also recommend hair transplant with HUE technique. you should use Finasteride preparations. You should take supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 and Vitamin E.
