Suggest Treatment For Dark Brown Color Urination

Ok so i went to the clinic 2 weeks ago on wednesday the doctor said i had a bacterial infection and she gave me some medicine for it. But the itching and burning didn t go away until recently but then it started causing me to have dark brownish red urine. I wasn t dehydrated so I knew it was not that, and now I get cramps when I urine and for a short time after. Also there is a light pink color on the toilet paper as if I am going to get my period or i wiped too hard but it appears every time only after I use the bathroom What could this be?

Hello,

I think you didn't get cured of the infection because the treatment you had was not the right one. You may need to do an uroculture first to check the kind of bacteria which is causing it and which antibiotic works best for it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
