Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response

Hello Srima,
Thank you for writing to us on Health care Magic.
Based on your history the response to your question is as follows.
1. It appears the infection is resistant to the medications being taken.
2. You need to start taking nitrofurantoin and get another urine examination along with culture and sensitivity to identify appropriate antibiotic.
3. You can take paracetamol for fever. Also take plenty of water.
4. Meet another doctor for tests and prescription. The infection and ascend into kidney and can be serious, if left untreated.
Hope this is helpful to you.
