Suggest Treatment For Dark Discoloration And Acne On Face

Hello doctors, this is prashanth here, my sister was fairer before but from last two years her face was becoming dark, much acne, allergitic nd now a days her mood swings bcoz of this type of reasons. Can u plz suggest I knew tenoveta gm cream works well for skin but for the reason of sie effects we can't use.. Any other ointments which gives result as same tenoveta gm . pl suggest.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that your sister is suffering from acne vulgaris as well as Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation..
Tenoveta GM contains clobetasol that is a steroid and Neomycin that is an antibiotic and can be used for a short term for resolution of dark spots as well as pimples..
In case if you are worried about side effects she can start washing her face with salicylic acid containing facewash, apply gels containing benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin or neomycin over the pimples, do cool compresses and avoid oily food..
For pigmentation she can use creams containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin..
Exfoliate her skin with a gentle scrub weekly..
Limit sun exposure, take Vitamin C supplements and use Vitamin E gel..
