Suggest Treatment For Dark Neck In A 9 Years Old Child
hi my daughter is 9 and she has a dark neck..she is brown skin..the last 2yrs the dark skin on her neck got really darker.Her weight got heavy. she is big for her age 120 and close to 5 on height...she is very active and strong. I don t know..but maybe I m doing something wrong..I don t have cable for this particular reason I don t want them to be lazy..I do give portion control on food..snack on fruit..drink only water..but it doesn t seem to do any change on her..Sshe has an uncontrollable cough at night sometimes..Sometimes it looks like shes having an asthma attack but she dont have asthma the doctor confirm it.. I have read your question in detail and I know that you are very concerned about your child but don't worry about it.
Darkness of skin at back of neck could be due to allergic reaction of skin to cloth or dust.
In my opinion, you should do complete blood count with esr levels and absolute eosinophil count to confirm the diagnosis.
