Suggest Treatment For Dark Patches On The Upper Lips
Hello doctor, I used to get dark patches on upper lips part don't know why so my skin doctor suggested me to use flucort plain twice a week at night, it's been 6 months I am using that cream it's helps when I use it but after stopping it is same as earlier.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dark patches on the upper lips which is because of hyper pigmentation i.e some part of skin becomes darker than other areas of skin.
Need not to worry. I would suggest to avoid exposure to sun rays and if go out side cover face. Apply azelaic acid cream as it causes lightening of spots. Avoid waxing or shaving of upper lips. Hydroquinone is quite effective as it blocks natural melanin formation. Combination of cucumber and lemon juice is very effective along with plenty of water. Use TAN CARE or sunscreen rich in SPF 30. If your symptoms keeps on persisting then visit dermatologist for this and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
