Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On The Forehead And Skin Tone Improvement

Hi sir, I am 23 year old. I have dark skin. But 2 years ago i tried HYDROQUINONE cream for approx 6 months..then my skin gets fairer but also get damn Red. Full red face, i feel so embarrassing with red face. Then i stopped using hydroquinone...and took medicines to get rid of red face. Slowly slowly again my skin becomes dark, i was disappointed. Then i tried many cosmetics, facial etc to get Fairer but nothing helped me. Much use of cosmetics, scrubs and creams as well as exposure to sunlight, my forehead become tanned. Present issues- black spots on forehead and dark skin colour. Now, currently i am using..... Vit C , Vit A, Vit E tablets Melaglow rich cream daily But i didn t get fairer skin and unable to get clear forehead skin (tanned). My skin is little oily and some pimples on forehead. Some1 suggest me Sun Stop sunscreen lotion and Sun Cros aqua gel.. Is it safe to use i mean use of this will not darken my skin?? Also sugget me which sunscreen is better for me sunstop or suncros aqua gel? Sir please reply can i use sun cros aqua gel? Or is there any other better Fairness sunscreen available to use??? Also sir i want to get fair skin permanently.. Is it possible anyhow?? Please tell. I am getting married 8 months later..SO PLEASE TELL ME WHICH MEDICINE/CREAM CAN I USE TO GET FAIRER SKIN SAFELY AND PERMANENTLY INSTEAD OF MELAGLOW RICH???? I will be highly thankful to you.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark spots on the forehead and skin tone improvement which is very common as white heads and black spots are because of oily skin and clogged pores due to which dead skin and bacteria gets entrapped in them and started causing blockage. Dark spot can also occur due to hyperpigmentation and sun burn . I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing salicylic acid twice a day. You should avoid use of any hard cosmetics on face. You should apply cream containing azelaic acid. You should exfoliate your face twice a week specially with non comedogenic exfoliant. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper checkup and to rule out any underlying disease . Doctor may prescribe antibiotic clindamycin or isotretinoin. You can go for chemical peeling, microabrasion and dermaabrasion as well.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
