Hello,

Itching in the vaginal area may be due to fungal infection of the area. You can take Fluconazole (Fole) 150 mg once a day for five days for relief from fungal infection. However, I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for the PCOS medication as they are necessary for the hormonal balance in the body and regular menstruation cycles.

There are some tips that you can use to prevent re-infection of the vaginal area with fungus.
- Wear cotton clothes in place of tight clothing.
- Do not spend too much time in hot showers, bubble bath, with soaps or antiperspirants in that area.
- Keep the area as much day as possible during the day.
- Whenever you clean the area, clean from forward to backward and not vice versa.
- Do not forget to urinate after each sexual intercourse.
- You can apply Betnovate-C cream (Betamethasone Valerate + Clioquinol) topically to the area 2-3 times a day.

However, if you not find relief after five days, you should visit a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
