Suggest Treatment For Darkening Of Skin Around Ankle Post Hip Replacement Surgery
Which specialist should i visit to solve my problem? I have darkening of the skin around my ankle. I progressively got darker after my spine surgery and hip replacement. My internist and dermatologist have not given me a conclusive diagnosis. Please let me know who I should consult with.

It may be due to chronic venous insufficiency or varicose vein. You can go for a venous Doppler to rule out varicose vein.
