Suggest Treatment For Degenerative Arthritis Along With Stool Retention
I am 23 years of age, I have a degenerative arthritis along with stool retention and have major hip/low back pain. I ve gone to doctors and pain clinic and I seem to not be getting anywhere. A pain clinic doctor (PA) told me after my X-rays to look for another doctor who will actually persue trying to help me. So I did this and now I m stuck waiting for an appointment. Help!!
To get rid of stool retention you are suggested to take high fiber diet, you can take laxatives at bed time. It will help better bowel movement. Take plenty of water. You can take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you have mild to moderate pain. NSAIDS, are equally effective. Treatment for degenerative arthritis is a combination of physical therapy exercises and conservative therapy, including injections, to reduce pain and maintain mobility and flexibility of the joints.
If the patient's symptoms do not respond to treatment, the treating doctor may recommend surgery. Lifestyle changes and losing weight are effective to reduce the symptoms. When you start these treatments early, it's often possible to slow down the joint degeneration. Stay away from stressful lifestyle and get treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
