General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of your X ray then it will be more helpful in understanding your problem. Physiotherapy and muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful for you. Muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine, NSAIDs like nimusulide can be taken during flare up of pain. Using scervical collars also will be helpful. Sleep with out pillow or use the orthopedic recommended one.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
