Suggest Treatment For Dehydration On The Fingers And Palms
Hi Doc, my fingers and palms look dehydrated even though I drink 3 to 4 litres of WATER a day. I carry excess water weight, and have had a kidney stone in the past. If I don t drink this amount of water, I am thirsty but regardless my hands look dehydrated. What is happening? Thank you! Karen
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Dryness of fingers and hands can be due to contact dermatitis. Daily 3-4 liters of fluid is enough for body's hydration. So better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of hands and fingers. You will mostly improve with mometasone (steroid) cream and moisturizer. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
