Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. She is most probably having delayed milestones and this is resulting in her delayed development. In a lot of children with seizure disorder mild forms or subclinical forms of seizures are seen. These persistent mild seizures which are not noticed usually result in repetitive damage to brain and thus lead to delayed milestones. If seizures are not controlled in time then the child suffering from seizure disorder might develop intellectual disabilities and mental retardation. Even with medicines she is having persistent seizures so this is the time to consult her doctor again for reevaluation.
An EEG can help to find out seizure focus and will help in treatment. She is already on Sodium Valproate but augmentation of the drug with medicines like Phenobarbitone can help to reduce the seizures. So don't wast the time and consult her doctor immediately.
