Hey there, I have a 4 month old who has delayed gastric emptying. No testing done as a registra said he will grow out of it by 5 months. However I have a friend who had it as an infant and is 24 and still has it as she was told it is something that is with you for life. So I am confused. He is a happy baby but spills up 50-90mls of each bottle (plus extra while he sleeps) and also brings up the solids too. He has almost 250mls less each day than he should have at his weight PLUS the 260mls he spills on top of that. His weight is ok...has sudden drops but usually will bounce back. He is also severely constipated and has a daily suppository as he can t go on his own. He has not been put on any meds as have been assured he will grow out of it at 5 months...we are a few weeks away and are having no improvement...what do I do? His vomit also smells yeasty too.
