Suggest Treatment For Dementia In An Elderly Person

My mom is 94years old and has moderate to severe dementia. What is the lifespan for her at this age. We are heartbroken watching her like this. She doesn t walk and her eating is very little but she does get boost plus three times a day. She does have to be fed. She is currently in a nursing home and we are bringing her home in a couple of days. We are anxious about what is ahead for us.

Hi,

It can be a sign of Alzheimer's disease. Complete cure is not possible.

You can take him to a neurologist and start on drugs like Donepezil, which has got some results in Alzheimer's disease.
