Hi I have been diagnosed with Agitated depression and anxiety. I spent 6 weeks is a psychiatric hospital. I have been home 10wks and it is still a daily struggle. I do manage to go to work and get through the day but it is hard. I am most agitated in the mornings and good in the evening. I take 250mg of Endep daily and 10mg of Olanzapine daily as well as fish oil, vit b complex, & folic acid. I did the pacing, the rubbing of clothes the wringing of hands and I jig my legs. I still do jig and wring my hand when I am worried. I attend weekly group support, psychology and psychiatrist appointments and meditation. Is there anything else I can do to help me?
Treatment is the same as what you are taking. However, do not stop any medicine suddenly at all. There is one remedy which is a breathing technique, it can help you the most, in especially your case.
Take antioxidants, few of which you already taking as mentioned in your history other like gooseberries, aloe vera, basil and rose petals. Hibiscus tea is good for you too.
Check your CBC, ferritin levels and thyroid profile. In food, eat fruits and boiled vegetables. Avoid spices and junk food etc. Drink lots of water and juices. Avoid watching violent movies. Sleep well and listen to calming good music at moments of sleep.
