Hey ive been having a lot of depression and anxiety issues over the past 3 years, but i ve never visited a psychologist because my mom is against it is there something i could take to feel better without prescription because im getting really bad and i want to hurt myself please answer thank you

Without going to psychologist, following are the best measures to help yourself for betterment nicely:
- Deep breathing exercises
- YOGA
- Meditations
- Avoidance of smoking, alcohol of recreational drugs if taking
- Maintenance of sound, regular, uninterrupted sleep of 6-7 hours
- Involvement in likelihood activities, social services etc
- Joining peer groups
