Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am suffering from lack of energy and attention deficit. Most of the time not getting interest in anything. Not feeling hungry. and often feeling depressed without any reason and feeling irritated. Can you please help me resolve this problem. Thanks.
Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern. I first congratulate you on being brave enough to come forward and ask for treatment. From your words , it looks like you are going into depression . I can assure you that you can pretty easily come out of it. First of all try to socialise . Try to speak out about your thoughts to a close friend or relative. It will make you feel relieved. Next I would ask you to visit a psychiatrist . He can prescribe you antidepressants . There are many many antidepressants like Fluoxetine, Sertraline, Amitryptiline and many more. He/she will take into consideration about which will suit you the best , the appropriate dose and will prescribe you . And one thing , please do not stop these medications at your own will. That may cause more harm than good. Let your doctor decide when to start and stop the drug. All the best. Feel free to post any other question.
