For the depression and anxiety-induced panic attacks, you have been prescribed anxiolytic and anti-depression drugs.
These drugs should be taken continuously for a long time like for more than six months. The behavioral counseling also should be done along with prescription of medication.
You need to try yoga, meditation, and exercise as well. You need to be in constant follow up with a psychiatrist to relieve anxiety and depression.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
