Suggest Treatment For Depression, Bipolar Disorder And Hypothyroidism

I just recently turned 50. I take a number of medications for depression, bi-polar disorder, hypothyroid- .100mcg it keeps increasing. In the past two months I have gained 35 pounds of ugly uncomfortable weight around my stomach and back. I look like a giant tomato with stick legs and arms. Its uncomfortable. I m dieting and also have hereditary high cholesterol and I won t be seeing a specialist for the thyroid problem until july 31. They also scheduled me for a colonoscopy, which I really would like to bypass. But in the mean time I m uncomfortable don t want any one to look at me. My doctors don t really tell me anything even when I press the issue. They tell me now don t get excited we wouldn t want you to have an episode now would we? That wouldn t do any of us any good. What could I do to or research to maybe understand what is wrong with me. Like I said I eat good foods - low fat low cholesterol, no soda pop and a lot of water. I m kinda a my whits end so to speak My name is Cindy
