hi...i have understood your concern...first of all you understand that your thoughts and worries are irrational, but still you cant control it and it is giving you more and more pain..
u have asked your boyfriend and confirmed also, so u need not to worry.
but i feel even after all these thinking, trying to convince yourself, u are not able to control these thoughts then u shud surely
consult a psychiatrist, and remember this is not a simple
depression, and if not treated at present, it will keep upsetting.. this is irrational thinking and
cognitive distortion. so u shud go for consultation to psychiatrist as well as psychotherapist and particularly for cognitive behavior therapy.
cognitive behavior therapy will help u a lot in identifying your automatic negative thoughts and how to control it with different cognitive exercises..
medications u can take after consultation to a psychiatrist: like
tablet. escitalopram 10 mg once a day at night and if u have problem with sleep then u can take tab.
zolpidem 10 mg at nights..
with regular medication and behavior therapy u ll surely improve within a duration of 2 months..
