hi, i think i am sufferin with depression, i always feel so low, i have 2 boys, 2, and 7 month, i have felt down for over a year, my dad also died died 3 year ago. i always feel like crying for no reason, and get easily angry and frustrated, things are getting worse day by day can you help
I am sorry about your loss. You have symptoms like crying spells without any reason, anger outbursts, irritability, frustration etc and these symptoms can occur with depression. In most of individuals after loss of loved ones some depressive symptoms are seen but these symptoms usually persist for only less than 6 months. If these symptoms persist for more than 6 months then this needs further evaluation. Depression could be most common possibility behind such symptoms. Please consider consulting a psychiatrist for help.
In mild to moderate depression medicines like SSRIs are commonly used. These medicines help to reduce the symptoms of depression and improve self confidence and reduce the negative thoughts. Along with depression try relaxation exercises, yoga, meditation etc which will help to keep you relaxed. Visit a psychiatrist for prescription of medicines.
Thanks, hope this helps you. Take care
