Hello Thought ruminations about negative things, crying tendencies without reason and sad mood point towards depression. But a detailed evaluation is required. Whether this affects your daily activities? Since how long you are feelibg like this? Effect on sleep and appetite etc? Loss of interest?
The answers to these questions will help a bit to label it as depression.
I would suggest you to visit a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and treatment.
Drugs like escitalopram and psychological treatments like cognitive behavior therapy are very useful for this.
Thanks
