Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You have attempted suicide and this classifies you in severe depression. You have persistent symptoms of feeling low, crying spells, worthlessness, stress etc. These symptoms shouldn't be ignored and need proper treatment.

Fluvoxamine is a SSRI drug and you are on 200 mg doses and symptoms are still persisted so in my opinion you should visit a doctor again for proper treatment. Medicines like Mirtazapine, Bupripion etc can be used along with your primary drug to augment the actions. This will help in quick relief. Some time anti-psychotics like Amisulpiride can also be used. The medicine is found to be very useful in negative symptoms of depression and has great efficacy. Please discuss with your psychiatrist for prescription of tis drug.

Apart from this please visit a psychologist for cognitive therapy. Cognitive therapy along with medicines result in quick improvement in depression.

Thanks, I hope this helps you.
