Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I read your query and can understand your distress. You seem to be suffering from a depressive episode which is resulting in the symptoms experienced by you. But as you said, you can't quit and you have to fight against your current situation. Going on leave will do no good as your problem will remain as such with out any treatment.

You should seek a psychiatric consultation. Treatment with anti-depressants like venlafaxine or escitalopram would be effective. Sooner, the treatment is started, better will be the response to treatment.

I hope that the information provided was helpful. Best wishes.
