Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare magic.
Difficulty in getting sleep is a common condition which is not a serious psychiatric condition as you fear of. Crying is a normal emotional response and if it is excessive and affecting your routine regularly you may need clinical attention.
I would recommend you to see a qualified psychiatrist who will spend time with you and help you in making a professional diagnosis.
Probably all what you will need is a small counseling, sleep hygiene and relaxation techniques.
Hope I have answered your queries. Feel free to write if you need further clarifications. Get well soon.
