General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Dextroscoliosis is deviation of spine to right side of back. This affects mechanism of respiration/ disfigurement of scapula on one side. It is not known to cause pain with change of weather. So your symptoms of hurting with cold/ rains seems to be due to an arthritis . You can confirm it once by a physician's advise & investigations.as per need. You can then take the medicines advised along with change in life style to avoid your seasonal pain. -Take a balanced diet with proteins/ calcium/ vitamin D. - Learn physiotherapy exercises .. to be done regularly,( They not only prevent but reduce or manage arthritis pain , if done regularly. - avoid exposure to cold. - Take pain medicines advised by doctor as per need. Thanks.
