Diabetologist 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through the details and understand your concern. It is essential to control his blood glucose levels effectively with appropriate treatment. Since no blood glucose levels and HbA1c% are mentioned, it is difficult to give any specific instructions or guidelines. As patient has a cardiac problem, it is very necessary to control the blood glucose levels strictly, preferable by using Insulin injections and a newer drug like the gliptins. As regards the heart condition, opinion of cardiologist has to be adhered too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
