Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Itchiness Around Anus
I had diarrhea for a few days and then had itchiness in the anal area now it is better with use of desitin and witch hazel, However, the skin right above the skin around the anus and right below the tail bone is now insanely itchy the only thing that helps is witch hazel do you have any suggestions

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Most likely you are having Enterobiasis (Pinworm) infestation causing diarrhoea and itching around anus as perianal pruritus is the cardinal symptom of Enterobiasis .
Desitin will give only symptomatic relief temporarily.
Get stool for routine examination done.
Albendazole (400 mg once orally at bed-time)is curative and can be taken empirically.
