Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Vomiting In A Child

hello sir, I have a son who is in 9th month and is suffering from loose motions and vomiting since two days. I have given him Echotec in the night and Motillium before any intake but still vomits a portion of whatever i feed. I see the impressions of teeth in his gum but they are yet to come out. Please guide me further in this respect.

Hi..Can understand your concern....As per your query diarrhoea and vomiting in a 9 months old baby can be due to infection or gastroenteritis in him..Generally infants have tendency to put everything in mouth while crawling here and there and gets stomach infection .This is the age of teething also,you can give him clean teethers for biting tendency.Antibiotics like ofloxacin with ornidazole syrup will be helpful twice a day for infection and you can also give colic aid syrup after consulting your pediatrician.If no relief then you need to go for a stool culture and senstivity test to rule out other causes.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
