Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Defecation
Have discomfort in my rectal area, penetrates into both checks hard to have bowel movement. Feels like it is blocked off and won t let stool pass, just got over diarrhea, have had I b s d for 30 years. Trying prednison suppository from Dr about 6 days still a problem

If there is no improvement on laxative, dietary changes or supositories then you should do some tests to rule out organic obstruction an dit includes colonoscopy or irigography. In most cases causes are benign but serious ones should be excluded. There may also be wekaness of sphincter mechanism and you should do anal manometry to evaluate this further.
