General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

breathing difficulty may be related to lungs problems or heart problems. it need detailed examination of the heart and lungs.

However difficult at night maybe because of obstructive sleep apnea that is more common in obese people. Sometimes it may be related to heart failure.

So it's important to be properly evaluated and examined to know the cause and then manage accordingly. So discuss this with your doctor.

Please don't hesitate to ask about anything else you want to know.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
