Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Conceiving In An PCOD Patient

Hi doctor. I have PCOD and trying to get pregnant. I got married 2 and half years ago. Weight was my issue and I have reduced 8 kgs and now I m 67 kg. My periods got regularised once I reduced my weight without medications. This month my doctor planned for IUI but she didn t do as my end o line was not sufficient. Also I had sitrodin 70 mg for 7 days. She said my follicle ruptured before they trigger. She has given uterogesten for 14 days. Any chance of getting pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have a history of PCOD, then get it treated first to avoid complications or miscarriage after you conceive.

Stress & anxiety may delay conception. Stay relaxed, many are not aware that there are links between uterus & your brain. Just stay happy, comfortable & relaxed. No need to get over-anxious.

Infertility treatment involves treatment of both the partners, get seminal analysis of your partner done.

Yes, there are chances of getting pregnant. Stay connected with your gyne & continue your treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
