Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Conceiving When Diagnosed With PCOS

Hi, been trying to get pregnant since april 2015. I was diagnosed to hav PCOS.since then my OB prescribed metformin, folic acid and ferticlo.. and also since april, my period became regular.. just wondering, if am I pregnant or not, at this month. Since I don t hav my period yet for this month. My last mens was june 29. I even used a PT, but got negative result. By the way, I often urinate and tested the PT at around 3pm, 30 mins after I just urinated.. Thanks!!

Thanks for posting in HCM.

PCOS is a treatable disorder and what medications has been given will help you to conceive. Hence don't be much worried and be patient till it happens. Also reduction in weight by means of proper healthy diet and moderate exercise will increase the chances for conceiving.

There is a strong possibility for you to conceive once your cycles becomes normal. If you have had delayed period and urine pregnancy test is negative, kindly get your blood tested for beta-HCG levels. That should give you a clear picture about your pregnancy status.
