Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Conceiving While Treating PCOS

I have PCOS and this month decided to see a reproductive endocrinologist toward IVF. I conceive naturally, I miscarry often so my goal was next cycle, look at my FSH levels etc. and plan for IVF. During my consultation, the dr. did an ultrasound, saw I had a pocket that indicated ovulation off my left ovary, and followed that with a blood test to check progesterone levels which confirmed I ovulated. I typically, like clock work, have a 30-day cycle. I am now on day 35 and counting. I feel like I could start my period any day but nothing is happening. I took a 6 day sooner pregnancy test on the day my period should have begun and it was negative. If I know I ovulated, what could factor why I am not having a period now? I don t really think Im pregnant, especially after the pregnancy test showed negative, but I am curious what can cause my cycle to delay in this stage. Thanks!

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

PCOS is treated with hormones and metformin. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for management. In addition, regular follicular scan is required to assess ovulation to plan pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
