I am recovering from a flu. A few days back I started having problems opening my mouth fully. This made eating and brushing my teeth a little difficult. It has been 3 days and the problem is still there. I have had this problem 2 to 3 times before and it usually goes away within a day.
Please saline gargles for a while. If there is pain you can take a painkiller .
Use chewing gum fro a while so that your muscles gets some exercise.
If the problem is recurrent ,please get a check up with oral surgeon to check any problem in the TMJ or is there any problem with wisdom tooth eruption.
Hope this is useful.
Thanks and regards
