Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
a female of 76 yrs old. has difficulty urinating. frequent urges but cannot relieve herself. when she urinates, she does not feel fully empty. She tested for any infection. came back negative. she took an xray, came back normal. the physician prescribed some medication to help her urinate. it worked for a day or so, but it is not effective. what next?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the female and having some difficulty in urination then stone condition need to be rued out and for that better to get done the ultrasonography test, drink more water, beside this other etiology also need to be taken under consideration like stricture, bladder pathology, it may be due to uterine pathology hope this information helps.
