Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Sleeping, Nausea And Metallic Taste In The Mouth

Hi, I am 64 years old, female, and live alone. Although I have difficulty sleeping, I am generally reasonably healthy. I am 165 cms and 60kgs. Lately I have been experiencing vague nausea, a metallic taste in my mouth, and fatigue. today I am also having a bad headache which is unusual for me, and shoulder pain. It all seems pretty strange. Any advice?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would prefer to know all the medications you are taking because some medications such as antihypertensive drugs can cause a metallic taste in mouth and nausea and fatigue.

Also, you should do a total blood count to check for iron deficiency anaemia because it can be a reason for your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
