Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Walking After An Accident

I fell approx one meter landed on my feet but my knee took a lot of impact. At first I couldn t straighten it properly, now I can but when I bend it or try to ride a bike it clicks as though it has popped out of joint but when I straighten it it eventually pops into place. I have previously has cartridge operations but this is different as though the knee is becoming dislocated.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There sounds to be possible ligament damage to the anterior cruciate or posterior cruciate ligament with or without meniscus injury. Kindly get consulting with your ortho surgeon for physical examination with various signs as anterior drower and else, which may help to establish clinical diagnosis and if he or she needs, then a referral of an MRI knee may be a demand of time. Do not neglect it, as chronic course may worsen the tissue insult already done by the blunt injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
