Suggest Treatment For Discomfort And Tenderness Around The Navel Area

hi there I have currently been to my gp and hospital with discomfort and tenderness around my belly button. It is extremely sensitive to touch and is uncomfortable a lot of the time. They scanned and didn t find any gallstones but told me I had levels of something in my blood indicating jaundice....linked to gallstones?! However on re-testing they said the levels had dropped, could this be gallstones they have missed? I am still sore and sensitive around my belly button, I would like some advise please!

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Hope my answer was helpful.

Gallstones does not commonly cause pain in the belly button.
The pain can be related to the presence of gas or umbilical hernia.
Meanwhile, I suggest using a spasmolytic such as Buscopan for pain relieve.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
