I am experiencing quite a bit of distress(it has been much worse) from diverticulitis. I have been over the stomach bug for almost a week. It lasted on and off until I stopped drinking milk. I probably overdid eating and now have this problem. I need to lose weight as well and not sure what to ne eating
You have problem of diverticulitis. You have to modify diet that can helpful in diverticulitis. Take more fiber foods like split peas Black beans,broccoli. .etc.Fiber diet softer the stool.
Rifaximine that helpful in diverticulitis. That decrease recurrence also.Antibiotics are also helpful in diverticulitis.
Avoid nuts ,popcorn, corn etc because that can worsen diverticulitis. Surgery may helpful in diverticulitis but recurrences are high in younger one.
